Services
Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy

Bloom offers individual and family therapy services in-person or via telehealth. With five clinicians in our practice, we will match each client with a therapist best suited to help them reach their potential. Individuals can expect to work one-on-one with a licensed and trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.
Family therapy allows multiple family members to improve communication and resolve conflicts as a group. Sometimes, therapy may need to begin in individual sessions and graduate to a family setting.
Couples Counseling involves the pair working together with a clinician to improve partner relationships.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of counseling that involves multiple individuals meeting with a clinician to manage mental health conditions or cope with negative experiences. Group therapy sessions will be offered based on clientele and community needs. Please inquire to learn more or to request a particular topic.

Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision supports unlicensed mental health professionals by offering oversight and support from a licensed provider. Bloom provides both group and individual supervision. Please get in touch with us to learn more if you are interested.

Internal Family Systems Therapy
IFS therapy is a psychotherapy that is backed by evidence and helps to bring harmony to the mind by addressing various parts of ourselves.
The central belief of IFS therapy is that everyone has a self that is confident and compassionate. This therapeutic approach helps us to integrate the different parts of ourselves that may be in conflict, thereby achieving balance and healing.

Somatic Experiencing Therapy
Somatic Experiencing (SE) therapy is an approach to address chronic stress and trauma by focusing on the physical body.
SE encourages individuals to pay attention to their internal physical experiences. Through movement and guided exercises, people are taught to recognize how stress and trauma are stored in the body and how the body and mind are connected. These experiences serve as information for working through physical and emotional pain caused by severe stress or trauma.

Narrative Therapy
Narrative Therapy techniques provide a structure for dealing with personal obstacles and emotional distress. This therapeutic approach recognizes that individuals are not defined by their predicaments but rather by the stories they create about their own life experiences.
One of the core principles of this therapy is the belief that individuals can reshape their narratives to create new understanding, promote healing, and increase their sense of control and well-being.

Sand Tray Therapy
Sand Tray Therapy is a therapeutic intervention for individuals of all ages that offers visual elements of expression that can help articulate thoughts, feelings, experiences, and internal conflicts verbally.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT is an evidence-based type of therapy that aims to change how an individual responds to stressors. CBT operates on the belief that a person's feelings, thoughts, and behaviors are connected.
By focusing on a person's negative thoughts and patterns, breaking them down one by one, and replacing them with positive, realistic, rational, and adaptive skills, the individual can decrease psychological distress and experience relief from symptoms.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
TF-CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps to address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families who have been affected by trauma.
The treatment involves three phases, and it also brings a non-offending caregiver into the conjoint treatment for parts of each session. This approach incorporates principles of family therapy to reduce trauma-related symptoms.

Play Based Therapy
Play activities may include games, art, music, toys, and role-playing, allowing clients to process complex issues in a safe environment. The therapist observes the client's play and interactions to gain insights into their inner struggles and patterns of behavior.
Through play, clients can develop problem-solving abilities, enhance communication skills, and build self-confidence. Overall, play-based therapy is an effective and non-threatening way for clients to explore their feelings and work through their challenges.

Gottman Therapy for Couples
The Gottman Method emphasizes observing your relationship in real time, grounded in love. It highlights the importance of positive psychology and the power of love in a partnership.
Negativity can have a profound impact on the mind, so this approach aims to help couples grow together rather than drift apart.

Important Announcement
Regarding Insurance Coverage
To our wonderful Bloom clients,
We hope this message finds you well as we approach a new year.
Bloom values your well-being and wants to ensure your
transition into the upcoming year is as smooth as possible. With
this in mind, we want to remind you about potential changes to
your insurance coverage.
In January, it's common for insurance plans with high
deductibles to reset. This means that even if your insurance
details remain unchanged, your plan deductibles may restart, and some benefits could undergo alterations. Additionally, you may have opted for a new insurance plan during this period. Many of these plans will take effect either towards the end of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024. Depending on the insurance you choose, this decision could impact your ability to continue therapy with Bloom.
Please stay informed about your insurance coverage, check if
your deductibles have been met, and be aware of your potential
out-of-pocket costs. While we conduct verification checks as a
courtesy, please know that the information obtained may not
always be accurate. Final details regarding coverage are
determined only when a claim has been submitted to your plan
and a decision is made regarding the services covered.
It is necessary to note that any co-payment amount provided by
Bloom may differ from the final actual amount for which you are.
responsible. Clients are responsible for paying any differences,
including deductibles. Please send us any updated insurance
cards, member ID numbers, and group numbers.
Don't hesitate to speak to your therapist with any questions or concerns.
