Position: Mental Health Clinician for Outpatient Group Practice

Employer: Bloom Wellness LLC, Woodland Park, CO

Schedule: Choose your hours (averaging 25 clients per week)

Bloom Clinician Job Description 

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing individual therapy. Bloom encourages all clinicians to explore personal growth to provide treatment for couples, families, or groups in the future, directly impacting the lives of our clients. Your role will involve providing evidence-based services, demonstrating your commitment to the highest professional standards and positive regard for clients. You will be able to develop a specialty and participate in ongoing professional development, ensuring your skills and knowledge are always up to date. Additional skills include:

  • Assessing clients' mental status condition based on a review of client information

  • Interviewing, observing, testing, and collaborating with other staff members for accurate diagnosis

  • Developing and implementing treatment plans with intentional clinical experience and knowledge

  • Conducting initial assessments and creating thoughtful treatment plans with the "golden thread"

  • Serving clients at a set schedule as determined by the treatment plan, with medical necessity in mind

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of records relating to the client's treatment is a responsibility we take very seriously

  • Understanding local community resources and providing referrals to community resources or specialists as necessary

  • Participating in and seeking consultation regularly to ensure best practices, effective treatment, ethical considerations, and growth.

  • Participation in weekly supervision if pre-licensed, along with understanding and meeting standards for supervisory billing for insurance purposes

  • Providing clinical interventions in a regulated state to deliver effective services with self-reflection, self-care, and professional boundaries

  • Creating and maintaining a healthy, positive, supportive work culture on the clinical team with consideration of others' needs

Qualifications for Mental Health Therapist

  • Experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood

  • A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT or working toward a license and willingness to undergo supervision practices as a licensee candidate or intern

  • Maintain professional licensure and certification throughout employment with this agency

  • Ability to work as a team member, kindly and cooperatively, and participate in a positive and healthy working atmosphere

  • Flexible work schedule that meets the clinician and client's needs

  • Superb organizational skills

  • Ability to guide, direct, or influence people and create client engagement in services

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Able to establish, maintain, and offer positive regard for effective working relationships with clients
